Evangelist P. L. Liddell was born in Chicago, IL.  He is the eldest of  three children born to the Rev. and Mrs. T. T. Liddell. 

He Married M. June McGuire (now deceased), daughter of the Rev. Dr. and Mrs. W. M. McGuire.  One daughter was born to them.  She also is married to a minister.

Evangelist Liddell graduated from Olivet Nazarene College (now University) from which he received the prestigious "O Award."

He pursued graduate studies in two Universities.

Almost all of his ministry has been devoted to itinerant evangelism.  His message, which constantly emphasizes holiness of heart and life, has taken him to all fifty of the United States, and several countries.  He has worked with 23 denominations.

His articles have appeared in several religious periodicals.

He has composed numerous gospel songs and choruses.

He is a trombonist, and tenor vocalist. (He was the featured vocalist for two radio programs that were aired weekly by the U. S. Air Force in which he also served as a pilot of multi-engine aircraft.)

His ministry has resulted in four new churches of the Nazarene.
